Hey friend! Hooray! It’s the first post! We are so excited about this new adventure as we hope to create a community of folks with a passion for educating our children and sparking a passion for learning in their wild hearts. Whether you are here as a fellow homeschooler, a parent interested in homeschooling, or for information and activities to supplement a child’s existing education, we hope to create a dynamic community we can all learn, be inspired, and grow together.
A little about me: My name is Brittney, and I have been homeschooling our little ones for 3 years. My husband Braden and I, and our three kiddos live in Oklahoma. We love Jesus, being outdoors and camping and hiking as a family often. We try to live as naturally and holistically as possible. Some of that lifestyle you will see here, as it is a part of our daily lifestyle and homeschooling. Mackenzie is 6 and is following Sonlight Intro to the World A for Bible, History, and Language Arts, Math-U-See Alpha, and Exploring Nature with Children for Science & Nature Studies. Mason is 4 and working on the Pre-K curriculum by The Good and the Beautiful, as well as ENWC. Madden is 2 and we just started tot-schooling. We love the pedagogy of Charlotte Mason, as well as Reggio-Emilia, Montessori, and Waldorf. We forest school, have weekly poetry tea time, and do lots of crafts together. Ultimately, we want to raise our kids to love to learn!
